Description

We are a PR, communications and content strategy agency seeking to hire a dynamic Senior Account Manager (SAM) to oversee the agency’s key accounts, guide our clients and champion our current vibrant culture. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong client focus, who is deadline oriented, very relational, loves collaboration, and can keep teams on track. SAM will oversee and facilitate teams through project management platforms, marketing strategies, market and media outreach, and other platforms towards established goals and thresholds to achieve success for our clients. SAM may also be responsible for corporate communications, developing internal strategies for employee engagement, and training. Collaboration and excellent CSR efforts are a must.

 Role 

 

·        Ensure agency is profitable by keeping accounts on time and on budget

·        Lead multiple client accounts while building a strong rapport with clients

·        Prepare for and lead client meetings

·        Ensuring tasks are actionable, measurable, and sustainable in meeting or exceeding client and team expectations.

·        Develop and update a weekly tracker for each client and oversee generation of monthly client reports

·        Assist in developing strategic plans and budgeting documents for clients 

·        Lead, manage and show accountability to team on tasks, expectations and budgets

·        Ensure the team is adhering to client deadlines via a project management tool (Monday) 

·        Effectively develop and communicate plans, reports, initiatives, ongoing tasks and progress with clients 

·        Review all produced creative copy and materials prior to sending to client 

·        Oversee and participate in the development of strategies on marketing and communications solutions for the clients and monitor all aspects of client contracts/strategies from start to finish 

·        Manage client partners and subcontractors 

·        Uncover creative ways to increase revenue on existing accounts 

·        Participate in new business development with President and other team members 

·        Participate in blog writing and marketing initiatives for the agency 

Must be willing to travel to meet with clients, as needed (<5%)

Qualifications 

 

·        Requires 8-10+ years of marketing or related experience 

·        Minimum of 3+ years of team management experience 

·        Agency experience required

·        B2B experience required

·        Ability to manage simple to complex client relationships 

·        Deep understanding of a wide range of marketing channels, tools and vehicles—spanning PR and communications, content development, strategy and branding 

·        A sense of urgency, the ability to deal with ambiguous situations, a strategic view but also a willingness to roll up sleeves and dig into the work to drive impact 

·        Highly collaborative, diplomatic, ability to influence others with a persuasive approach 

·        Creative problem solver who can see and offer the big picture perspective

·        Team oriented 

·        Exceptional writing and editing skills 

·        Ability to write both strategically and creatively under deadlines

Must be self-motivated and able to work virtually during normal business hours and available periodically for onsite meetings which may require travel (<5%).
